Do you have a crazy story about how you got beads at Mardi Gras? If so, tell me. I was born and raised in New Orleans and we went to Mardi Gras every year. I use to be in parades when I was little. It was one of my favorite things to do. I use to see some crazy stuff people would do for trinkets and beads and I was shocked. I was still little but now I just laugh at some of the things adults use to do. I would just scream my heart out when I was little and have my dad or cousins put me up on their shoulders to get the best beads off the float. Sometimes it worked and other times the lady next to me showing a little more got them. ;). Even if you have never been to Mardi Gras, what would you do to get your beads at Mardi Gras? Ally
